Superintendent's Report - April 2023

April is a great time to reconnect with one another after spring break, and to reengage with our individual and collective purpose: to support and realize the success of each of our learners as we begin the final three months of the 2022-2023 school year.

In that spirit of engagement, I am excited to share results from our strategic plan engagement process in this month's superintendent's report.

Highlights of the process include:

Superintendent's Report - March 2023

A sense of community, an ability to embrace kindness towards oneself and toward others and feeling the joy of physical movement – these are three themes that you will see in this March report. These are also important elements for each child to excel in school and in life.

Indigenous Veterans Day - November 8

November 8th is a day marked to honour the contributions of Indigenous Peoples to the Canadian Military.

"Did you know that First Nations served in the Canadian Military at a higher rate than any other group in this great nation? More than 4,000 Indigenous people served Canada in the First World War. In fact, First Nations, Inuit and Métis people served Canada in all the great conflicts and peace support missions of the 20th century." Good morning Rosemont families,

Thank you so much to all the families that were able to come to the Open House and Potluck Fall Social last Thursday evening.  It felt so great to welcome everyone into the school again! We look forward to many more opportunities to have families connect and share in the Rosemont School learning experience.
