Hello families,

A few more key pieces of information as we get ready to welcome your children to school:

1. While we try our very best at Rosemont to plan for and minimize safety risks to avoid accidents, unfortunately sometimes student injuries happen.  Please consider purchasing accident insurance, as your child is not covered through the school district.

Please read through our Code of Conduct, which highlights our 5Cs of positive expected behaviours with your child prior to starting school.  Of special note, please review pg 3 & 4, which outlines our guidelines for personal digital devices at school.  In short, Rosemont elementary students are not permitted to have a personal device at school (cellphone, tablet, smartwatch, gaming system, etc), unless it is pre-determined as a learning tool in their IEP.  All messages from home to students should come through the school office - (250)352-3182.    

3. Backpacks to give away! I have a bunch of backpacks to offer to Rosemont families.  Please see the attached pictures and I will leave the backpack bucket in the front foyer for next week.  Please feel free to pop into the school and take a backpack (or a few!).
